3 Month Wardrobe

Continuing on in the series, the 3-month clothes.

Pattern: Sinclair, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Vintage. Tie dye, Rib. Floral, Jersey.

Size: 3-month

Thoughts: Quick and easy. I added a snap placket to the tie dye one. I think I will probably wish I added it to the floral one too.

Pattern: Notingham, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Cotton, Joann

Size: 3-Month

Thoughts: I bought this fabric several years ago and have been waiting to make into a dress for my baby girl. I did lazy daisy flowers with french knot centers on the collar. I love the simplicity and timelessness of this dress.

Pattern: Bloomington, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Vintage, Jersey

Size: 3-Month

Thoughts: I chose to leave the keyhole back off of this romper. The green fabric doesn’t have the best stretch so I worry it will be difficult to get on.

Pattern: Cusco, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Vintage, Rib.

Size: 3-Month

Thoughts: I’m not a big fan of this vintage fabric. It isn’t very soft and doesn’t have great recovery, but I wanted to try out some knit patterns with it. I would really like to make this pattern again with better fabric.

Pattern: Vallejo, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Red, Rib Knit from KnitFabric.com. Floral, Vintage, Double Brushed Polyester.

Size: 3-Month

Thoughts: I love the back and sleeves on this top. I struggled initially with the elastic on the sleeves, but it would be much easier if I did it a second time,

Pattern: Romper, Astoria. Headband, Elba. Little Lizard King.

Fabric: Stretch crepe, Raspberry Creek Fabric.

Size: 3-Month

Applique: 3D Butterfly, Applique for Kids

Thoughts: This romper is so easy and is completely enclosed without having to do anything extra. The 3D butterflies were really fun to learn how to do. I did both butterflies at the same time to make it easier to place them where I wanted them.

Pattern: Siena, Little Lizard King

Fabric: Vintage, Cotton

Size: 3-Month

Thoughts: I love everything about this dress. The double skirt, square neckline, side ties: it is all so elegant and classy. The center panel is a great canvas for adding embellishments. I pleated and smocked it for this dress.

Overall, I’m happy with this collection of 3-month clothes. I would have liked to make more in this size, but we were gifted a lot of 3-month clothes, so I decided to make more in the sizes we weren’t given.
